Library Association as a Quality Enhancement Initiative of IQAC organized Student Capacity Building Programme on the topic “Understanding the Importance of Library in our Life” on November 09, 2022 at 1.50pm to 2.50 pm for the first year students, the main purpose being to develop and improve the reading habits among students. The Resource Person was Mr Kiran Dsouza Lecturer, Milagres PU College, Mangalore. Addressing the students, he said Library is not only the place for reference books but also newspapers, magazines and journals. All these collectively form a library. Library is a reservoir of history. He stressed on the importance of library in everyone’s life. IQAC Coordinator Mrs Chethana welcomed the gathering and introduced the resource person. Librarian Mrs Pramila Dsouza proposed the vote of thanks.
