Milagres College, Mangalore conducted Valedictory program of the Add – On courses on June 17, 2023 in the college auditorium. 14 Add-on courses of 30 hours duration is conducted for the academic year. Eminent resource persons from outside are appointed for the classes. Add on Courses like Tally, Entry to CA, Spoken English, Soft Skills, Personal Investment Planning, Event Management, Photography, GST, Beautician, Yoga, Journalism, Dramatics, Culinary Artsand First Aid are planned for the students with its own curriculum. Chief Guest Rev. Fr Praveen Leo Lasrado, Rector, Gladsome home and designate secretary of CBE in his speech “All the courses have their own ability, we as an individual should gain one or the other new knowledge it doesn’t matter how old you are try learning new skills in life”. Rev Fr Michael Santhumayor, Principal presided over the program. He welcomed the gathering as well as all the resource persons. He said “Add-on course are special skills in one’s life. The courses are not for your hands, not for your’s head but for your life”. The resource persons shared their experience and gave feedback regarding the sessions. Student representatives from each Add -On course shared their experiences and feedback regarding the learning sessions. The students who completed the course were awarded with certificates.
